Wrong, and the video in the post to which you replied got into it. There are millions of "recipients" who can't possibly actually exist because they're well over 100 years old.

That money is going somewhere, and as a taxpayer, I'd like to know where.

There's a 2024 IG report that covers it.

Well, I'll certainly tolerate one of those auditing our government over a bunch of unelected career bureaucrats who can't hack it in the private sector defrauding us.

Never heard of them, but I'm going to see if they'll help us out in a dispute with someone we might be suing. So far other government agencies (such as the FTC and another one whose name escapes me at the moment) only took our report and did exactly jack shit to help.

I'm all for government efficiency, but DOGE isn't it. It's literally an unelected billionaire taking a sledgehammer to agencies that are regulating, litigating, or monitoring him. It's such a naked play that I'm shocked that people are still not seeing it.
