@adam-l The problem is they will never address the elephant in the room when doing "science" for this shit. There were separate organizations in Brazil and Italy warning of genetic differences in susceptibility to corona viruses due to gene expression differences related to key receptors. Africans and Mediterraneans were of particular concern, given long running genetic science before COVID-19. Well, oddly enough, a casual look would tell you that indeed mortality rates seem to match that, but since we can rarely even talk about such things, we will never really know. In other words, the science is all baked in trash now and frankly ignoring it will achieve the same outcome as trying to embrace it.

Yes, very much so. This type of argument/attempt at dismissing another's claim works particularly poorly when you don't have any track record of the individual claimant's positions over the years. I'll note that in communities I've been active on for 20 years, the exact same people who were gung-ho for Republican and Neocon wars and constitutional/division of powers transgressions just conveniently memory-hole mine and their positions expressed in the past when it's expedient in the moment to attempt an unsupported partisan snipe.
DOGE doesn't actually control anything. They only give information and make recommendations.
They connected their own private server to official Government systems, with no oversight on what data they are allowed to access, collect, and do who knows what with later. Something that should raise alarm bells in the absence of partisan excuse making because they identify those collecting said data on "their" political sportsball team.
Sure, they throw out some high profile bones that they know their base will find delicious, but these work to distract attention from the full scope of what "DOGE" is doing or will do in the future.

Except that hasn't happened, at least not yet. The USAID has been a shitshow for a long time. Last Feb there was an attempt at an audit, but it was quickly shutdown when they noted that the overhead was AT LEAST 40% of each grant. What the fuck? Twenty percent considered borderline criminal for private charities. None of this money benefits lower earning americans. It benefits higher earning americans and then, maybe, foreigners.

And it is fucking hilarious! TLDR; a couple days ago the DOGE boys got doxed and the whitepeopletwitter troons and eurofags went on a rampage describing very specific acts of violence against them. The DoJ is promising charges. Starting this morning, reddit has initiated a massive purge of the entire site. (See link.) A lot of it is targeting gay and trans sex shit, though not all of it is explicit. They nuked one of the trans surgery subs. This shall be a day of much howling and sorrow.
And like I said, I don't think I have enough popcorn to get through this show.
