The decay isn't a fluke, it's functioning entirely by design, but anything could happen whether Trump is or isn't allowed to resume office. The imperial US is heading towards collapse, and when that happens, the secret war will become openly kinetic. I fully expect it'll spread throughout the wider Anglo and European-sphere, which is why I advise foreigners in the advanced countries to pursue educations of value in your home countries, work your job, pay your debts, buy land where you come from, build a family compound, and be ready to leave.
However, Americans, and the various foreign invaders here and coming, should be more concerned with how China will ultimately respond to the presence of US Special Operations units being permanently stationed in Taiwan, as it removes any doubt that the US has already invaded China. I fully expect that when China responds, while that response will be measured against the antagonism of the imperial US, a few token Chinese agents and cells in the west will be eliminated or captured to pretend that they're being combated, but otherwise the plan will go forward with very little change.
