Welp, it had to happen eventually. Somebody will want to talk politics so here it is. This is specifically for US Politics.
I will make rules as I see the need but fro now please just be kind to each other.
@MentORPHEUS Oh, here’s the director with Epstein…!
@MentORPHEUS I would say people are reasonable then. Who gives a fuck about her? Even for the women... except being arm candy she doesn't really stir up shit like tiktok girls, if she would appear on epstein files doing some weird shit and film would be advertised: this is how 50 shades of Melanie is done... I could see 1 woman buying 3 tickets.
That also goes for Trump I believe. If there would be like 100% definite proof on him. Reasonable people wouldn't have problem to flush him in the toilet as long as someone would guarantee the same no BS politics - or whatever people believe. Sure him being a face of changes, support would go down in reality.
@Typo-MAGAshiv one might even say it is so perfect that instead of outright mass murder of ppl, people murder themselves or don't want to procreate etc.
One might say capitalism and constant drive to improve stuff brought us to state where only BS can be improved, so we have invented new problems: namely give ALL women the right to vote
I leave a link here to video from Spain, assuming it is real.

If Capitalism is supposed to work as a market driven Meritocracy
supposed to
That's an easy one.
People are still involved, and people suck. Nepotism, cronyism, etc.
Capitalism is the closest to fair we can possibly do in an inherently flawed, unfair world.
Also:
@SeasonedRP If Capitalism is supposed to work as a market driven Meritocracy, how is it SO many middling to outright terrible at business individuals keep failing upward so incredibly high within it?
The Melania movie bombed epically hard. Big theaters reported single digit ticket sales on opening night. The memes have been hilarious, one showed Melania tickets under a windshield wiper, with the caption Just came out of Costco... Every car in the parking lot.
@TheRedPike He was connected to firms involved in that but he was no market wizard. One of those firms had significant losses in the financial crisis. He raked in fees from Les Wexner and Leon Black but that's fishy too in that they paid far, far more than would be normal for tax and estate planning, especially since Epstein had no expertise in either area. No, this guy was no finance whiz. His source of funds is still a mystery.
@SeasonedRP He was one of the founders of the modern CDO market. He raked in cash from 2001 through this skeevy shit and then when the whole market imploded in 2008, he raked in bailout money.
