Editing Posts

Similar to twitter, we won't be supporting editing on this side. We plan to implement a feature similar to "retweet" which will rely heavily on preventing users from modifying a post after it has been reposted.

Forums.red, however, will support editing.

Fixed Left Sidebar

Because some people's tribe list may get longer than the vertical size of a screen, we can't fix the left sidebar. There is, however, a "Back To Top" link in the bottom right corner on desktop.

Progressive Web App

We are planning to release an API for devs to go to town with.

@redpillschool I see some misconceptions being thrown around here so I thought I'd chime in.

Stoicism isn't a religion. It's a school of thought that uses logic and reasoning to aid an individual on their path to self-mastery. If people aren't trying to change things around them for the better, they aren't practicing Stoicism.

One of the core tenets of Stoicism is not wasting energy on things we don't have control over. Essentially, not tying your happiness with results but rather with taking action instead. In Redpill terms: outcome independence. Unfortunately, like in the Redpill community, many people latch on to half of that tenet (not wasting energy) and forget the taking action part. As you said, it becomes just another coping mechanism.

TL;DR; "The Stoic archer strives to shoot excellently, and will not be disappointed if she shoots well but fails to hit the center of the target."

Awesome job on the site so far! It's great to see it continually improved especially the latest Tribes Feed feature.

Here are some humble thoughts on what can be improved:

Progressive Web App?

Editing Posts

Pretty straight forward. Being able to edit posts you have previously made.

Fixed Left Sidebar

If the left sidebar was fixed, users could scroll down through a bunch of posts and still be able to quickly navigate to another section of the site without having to scroll all the way back up.

Progressive Web App?

By adding an app manifest and service worker to the codebase the website can become a progressive web app. This would allow the website to function more like a native app (both Android and IOS) and even allow pinning to the home screens without having to divert resources to create fully native apps. Best of all, sidestepping both app stores.

@redpillschool I thought it was fucking great and an excellent origin story to the Joker. There were some parts that I thought were slow but the ending made everything more than worth it. DC tends to be darker and focus more on character development than their Marvel counterparts so expect fewer explosions and more drama.

@AlphaMale After long breaks, I find it useful to drop my working sets by 15-20% and focus on reestablishing my form during the first couple of weeks. The lighter load also helps in reducing DOMS. Afterward, I start progressively overloading like usual. Feeling extra sore always happens after extended breaks but just work through it. Good luck!

@CainPrice If I understand you correctly, yes there is. Please check if "Ask TRP" tribe is set up like you are talking about. If it is, this can be configured by the admin of a tribe in the tribe settings.
