A big mission. A life-aim. That's what focuses your energy. Otherwise, you'll only do micromanaging, which is exhausting and doesn't work
What would you do in life if you had no financial/other constraints?
It's seems otherworldly to me how some people seem to have just so much discipline. How does it work? The discipline to not give in to the temptation for years on end. Of eating shitty food, smoking, being lazy. I'm stuck in this loop of deciding to be better, doing good for a few days/weeks, and crashing.
It's not even about not knowing that things I want to do are possible but hard. www.trp.red/p/whisper/1424 It's just temptation. And bargaining. A lot of bargaining with myself.
"Oh I went hard at the gym today. I deserve a cigarette." "I don't need to track my expenses, I've got plenty of money." "That girl would probably say no so why talk to her."
There must be an easier, more direct way out of this constant cycle centred around ruts.
I've switched from machines to barbells recently. The lack of proper recovery is making me not want to go to the gym out of fear of hurting myself. Can anyone point me to some resources for good recovery from strength workouts?
So what are you guys investing in? Good time to buy or wait a bit more?
@justaskingstuff Take the L bro. Forget she exists.
There was a comment by Whisper once in which he said, "She isn't even dead to you, because corpses exist.".
You have nothing to gain with this girl, and all your dignity to lose.
