@destraht If their product wasn't so grindingly boring, they might have gotten away with it.

@TiberiusBravo87 Exactly. They pretty much tell you it as an arbitrary whatever. Why provide content to that sort of platform? Fucking hell, even twitter and tarddit play the game and pretend to have some standards.

@TiberiusBravo87 Yup. I usually nope out when I see this sort of bullshit: "Do not share false or misleading information (otherwise known as misinformation). Content that is false, misleading, and can lead to significant risk of physical or societal harm may not be shared on Discord. We may remove content if we reasonably believe its spread could result in damage to physical infrastructure, injury of others, obstruction of participation in civic processes, or the endangerment of public health." Even reddit hasn't gone there.....yet.

@AFTSOV And the weird thing is we are on the same page at least how we express it, even if not on our final conclusions. And a lot of retards will interpret these two comments wrong. And even bigger retards (reddit) can't even play along.

@lurkerhasarisen I was K through 12 at private catholic schools. I was spared but three of my very good friends were rewarded for their service with butt fuckings. Anyways... they weren't all sodomites. If you really got to see the inside, like where the movers and influencers were, usually during a drunken party, you'd see what they really thought. They didn't believe most of dogma. They saw themselves as warriors in a great search for truth and their job was to keep the proles at bay with simple sayings and gestures. They weren't atheists; they just didn't believe the bullshit. As long as they thought you were on the same page, they didn't hide it.

Oh, and it helped that there was a law at the time that allowed minors to drink booze as long as it was provided by their parents OR clergy (the idea was for the alter boys, but I'm guessing it helped a lot of the butt fuckings). Six weeks before my first day in catholic high school I was at dinner party where I was sipping brandy while the listening to my soon to be "dean of students" explaining how black and white photography was how he connected with god. Not scripture. Not dogma. Taking pictures.
