Uncensored discussion of the four-year dark winter predicted by and carried out by Biden
2h ago The Dark Winter
@MentORPHEUS As ever, I'm only moved as far as to say "fuck you all!" in the geopolitics of it all.
-
Fuck Trump for being the one that ended the deal with Iran in his first term
-
Fuck Israel for their inherent bloodlust to bomb all of their neighbours
-
Fuck Iran for that stupid motherfucker ayatollah propagandising his population with "death to the west"
-
Fuck the liberals and progressives who seamlessly flip flop between protesting the Iranian regime for their treatment of the population not even two years ago, and then being propagandised into carrying signs of the ayatollah in solidarity. Stupid cunts.
- Fuck the MAGAs for thinking they'd changed anything at all. Stupid cunts.
I'm sure there's some other folks that can go and fuck themselves for being the way that they are.
All that being said, I doubt this will become a war in any conventional sense. Russia is can't even take Ukraine, China is focused on their trade win conditions (we'll see this if Iran insist on closing the strait of hormuz), they have no allies capable or willing to help them.
If America or Israel signal to put boots on the ground that would be unfathomably retarded and though both of those countries administrations are unfathomably retarded, I think they're aware of that much.
tl;dr fuck 'um all.

Where do you think Al-Assad got the chemical weapons he used on Syrian rebels during the Arab Spring?
Oh! Oh! I know this one! It was the CIA!
At the time most of the world agreed with the "righteous moral stature" of it.
Only those who took the Official Party Line at face value, and lacked the will to study the matter even a little bit. That time, the Administration and media mouthpieces were unanimous and insistent on the "fact" that "Saddam has WMDs.
You're conflating the first and second again.
The first was in 1991, and was purely to protect Saudi Arabia and then liberate Kuwait.
In fact, the first Pres Bush faced a lot of criticism from both sides of the aisle for not invading Iraq and taking Saddam out! However, we had no standing at the time to do that, and doing so would likely have turned our coalition against us.
That time, the Administration and media mouthpieces were unanimous and insistent on the "fact" that "Saddam has WMDs.
Sigh, time to go around that mountain again.
He more than likely had them, but those huge truck convoys going into Syria while our government spent months discussing and debating got rid of much of what he had.
Where do you think Al-Assad got the chemical weapons he used on Syrian rebels during the Arab Spring?
Read More[whiny crap about how much area is affected]
Percentage of area affected isn't nearly as important as the significance of the target or targets.
Much like when the French Revolutionaries stormed the Bastille (which was just one building in a huge city), when these criminal invaders attacked government facilities to thwart law enforcement agents in their efforts to carry out lawful procedures, it was significant enough to warrant a response.
And no, I'm not saying these pieces of shit have the same moral standing as the French Revolutionaries at all, but just using the storming of the Bastille to illustrate that how large of an area affected is doesn't matter as much as the significance of what's hit.
primarily being conducted by criminal invaders who are breaking the law just by being here.
If that WAS true, I'd be for it also
It is true, so welcome to MAGA!
[emotional posturing along with baseless accusations of "othering" and racism
Show me where I've said anything of the kind.
You have your closed mind made up, that anyone who wants criminal invaders gone must just hate whatever ethnicity those invaders are. News flash: if someone sneaks in from Finland, I want him gone too.

This time, numerous credible sources even within Trump's own inner circle are unanimously insisting "Iran abandoned its nuclear weapons program in 2002 and we have exactly zero evidence that they even want nuclear weapons, much less are actively working toward that goal." Without offering even a scintilla of evidence, Trump keeps brushing them off with "They don't know what they are talking about!!!
At some point, even diehard MAGA fans are going to find themselves having to claim they were against this war all along, and never actually liked much less believed Trump.

@MentORPHEUS The first gulf was a liberation. At the time most of the world agreed with the "righteous moral stature" of it. Now the second war is a different story...
6h ago The Dark Winter
@SeasonedRP comes off like the same Neocon attitude that emerged in the lead up to the first Gulf War. Unquestioning self assurance of superiority, and a presupposition of righteous moral stature.
Americans seem to have no idea how far over the cliff we've already run.

@MentORPHEUS I wouldn't call it a war since Iran doesn't have a credible military. Iran's leadership signed its death warrant on October 7, 2023. October 7 demonstrated how unbelievably stupid these people are. They have no viable means to protect themselves and can be killed at will. Either that will happen or the oil facilities will get taken out, which will force an economic collapse and surrender. There won't be a war.

@MentORPHEUS I happen to agree it doesn't look like a great idea. When did going in and bombing people ever win anything? It just pisses them off.
Go in conquer them and keep the oil if you like, over 100 years you can tame the country, colonise it with your people and eventually make it a state of your own. That is how it works if you want to win the great game.
Bombing them and putting no boots on the ground just pisses them off. It may set back their ability to execute attacks a bit but it greatly increases both their will to do so and their innovation in doing so.
