Predators deserve the millstone treatment.

The currently sitting archbishop of New Orleans, Gregory Aymond, is a monster who should be publicly removed with great fanfare and paraded through the streets of New Orleans.

This is said in the spirit of the words of the Son of God, who acclaimed, "It is impossible that scandals should not come. But woe to him through whom they come! It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck and he cast into the sea, than that he should scandalize one of these little ones" (www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=luke+17%3a1%e2%80%932&version=dra).

So egregious is it to harm a child that this is the only instance in the Gospels where Our Blessed Lord actually attaches a specific penalty to a specific sin. And yet, new developments reveal that Aymond has done just that, being "him through whom the scandals come."

He certainly isn't alone in the crowded field of lying, cheating, children-of-Satan bishops who have made their careers over the devastated psyches and even corpses of sexually abused, molested and raped children.

But then again, Aymond has had the misfortune — from his point of view — of having his sins revealed in various documents from the New Orleans archdiocese bankruptcy filings.

In that mountain of paper a series of letters and texts have been unearthed by reporters at The Guardian newspaper, which were compiled in a nearly 50-page memorandum from attorneys representing abuse victims.

It outlines the cases of a half-dozen priests whom Aymond's own sex abuse board found credibly accused and made recommendations to remove or sideline from ministry and have their names added to the diocesan list of credibly accused molesters.

Yet Aymond simply disregarded his own board's recommendations and never said a word about these clerics.

The truth always comes out.

A little more than a year ago, Church Militant hosted a New Orleans sex abuse victim here in the studio and interviewed him about his tragic story. Local media outlets, as well as documentary makers, provided extensive coverage of his case in the archdiocese of New Orleans.

During our interview, recorded at Church Militant in November of 2021, Richard Windmann dropped a bomb.

We sat on this interview for more than a year while we checked it out. Immediately after hearing this information from Richard Windmann, we directly texted Abp. Aymond with the following text:

"Hello, Archbishop. This is Michael Voris from Church Militant, and we have received some reports that you personally sexually abused a man who was a former seminarian, and another case where you abused a minor male. Do you have any comment for us?"

We sent that text at 7:34 p.m. ET on Nov. 2. That was 6:34 Abp. Aymond's time. We received no response from him. But the next morning, we received a call from his communications director, who immediately asked me if we could talk off the record. I told her no. Reporters should never give away their right to report, because they would enter into an agreement without knowing the terms.

The specific charge, which Church Militant sat on for more than a year as we vetted it ourselves, involves a former seminarian of Aymond. He alleges that Aymond, as rector of the seminary, groped and touched him and made a pass at him after he went to him to complain of fellow seminarians coming on to him.

Notre Dame seminary has, for years, had a notorious reputation for being a homosexual hotbed, earning it the nickname "Notre Flame." Aymond was rector during some of those years
