Can a $10 Raspberry Pi break your PC’s disk encryption? Last week, a video by security researcher StackSmashing demonstrated an exploit that could break Microsoft's BitLocker drive encryption in "less than 50 seconds" using a custom PCB and a Raspberry Pi Pico. Ironically, if you're using a high-end Windows laptop, your laptop is slightly more likely to be using a dedicated external TPM chip, which means you might be vulnerable.

@drake +1 for mullvad. Don't pay with your credit card, obviously: you can pay with Bitcoin or buy vouchers on amazon (the code has to be revealed by scratching so that amazon can't track you).

@drake

I forgot I even wrote this. Look. I don’t waste my time arguing online. I stand by my comment. And yes it is generic. But that does not make it wrong. Don’t listen.

@deeplydisturbed We know fully that if we even tried to get on the app stores they'd ban us, so instead of wasting all that money developing apps we just made the whole site an app.

@drake @Typo-MAGAshiv

Once upon a time I worked with Bruce Schneier. Yes, THAT Bruce Schneier. He held my son in his hands when he (my boy) was a newborn.

And of all the things I have learned from my time with him, one thing stands out: If it is encrypted, it can be DEcrypted. IDGAF who did the encryption - they had a professor who taught them that shit.

Another element of cyber security is hardware. Most people are clueless - even tech savvy people - about the hardware abstraction layer (HAL) and what that means to everything else. Firmware matters more than software.

I will stop there.

@Jombwe TRP.red is fully responsive for mobile interface. Pin the site to home on your apple or android and it operates like an app.
