I do have a suite of AVG products running, so I feel fairly safe.
Maybe I've just been lucky, and haven't had any issues, so far.

@Bozza I made a couple of forum posts a few months ago so I wont spam this space (they're searchable). This is global and coordinated so it's not unintelligent.
I think we're going to have a Fermi tier disaster if this trend isn't stopped. "They" are not the type of individual who wakes up one day and then searches "how do I get laid?".

Don't feel bad, my PC is running the OS that was installed when I bought it, Windows 7 Home Edition.
I did take the free upgrade to 10 when they offered it, then immediately downgraded to 7.
I'm not a gamer, or Power User so it's more than enough for my needs. About the only upgrade I'll make is to install an SSD so it boots up faster then the current HDD.
