@Typo-MAGAshiv Is this in reference to the curious case of MizMaladapted? Is agreement hate speech now? I seem to recall she said "you bet my sweet gorgeous fat ass" or something like that, in a very proud, matter of fact sort of way - aren't we encouraged to use people's pronouns?

@SheLarror1234 All media is propaganda, and propaganda can be used to strengthen and unite societies. In the past it was used in such ways. Now it's almost entirely being used to divide us and weaken us, at least when it comes to mainstream media - so you are right with the implied fact that we are better off without media in it's current state. When was the turning point, exactly? Is there a specific year where things took a sharp turn?

I think it should be the other way around, personally - show off the best of the best on TV, so the people watching feel like losers and try harder to succeed in life; but I suppose that doesn't sell ad revenue with the current snowflake culture that is afraid of discomfort and success through hard work.

Instead, they're showing us the bottom of the barrel. I'm sure some people see these wastes of skin, and justify skipping a workout or ditching the healthy meal for fast-food - simply because the media shows us these losers that don't work out or eat well at all, and in increasing numbers.

@Aging-Chad It could be because the freaks are being given the spotlight, and the media is making their voices heard. Because it's possible to get attention by being the most hideous version of oneself, it perpetuates it to the young impressionable audiences that are too lazy and self indulgent to eat well and exercise. Blame the media for promoting disgusting lifestyles.
