@Vermillion-Rx when I was young and went to army I had my only civil shoes handed over for long term storage.

When months later I went to collect them I couldn't recognise them. I looked at the only shoes left in the storage and I was like "someone took my shoes and left this old tired bangers behind". They were actually mine. I had a fresh look after long period of time and seen them for what there were.
