So what are the procedures these days?
These days? No clue. I got out of the Army in 2012. A lot has changed since then, and much of it not for the better (though it seems Secretary Hegseth has reversed some of the worst changes).
No face masks with filters were provided?
LOL fuck no.
1) I actually got laughed at when I expressed concern at inhaling so much smoke on all 3 tours.
2) masks and filters wouldn't protect against smoke anyway. That's why firefighters wear SCBA, and you can't be wearing that shit 24/7.
IBS (swallowing the excess snot in my sleep)
would never think 1 can lead to 2
attack before 40
I don't thing an average person realises consequences of snoring (close enough symptom that sounds innocent), well I did just found out myself
massive burn pit

excess snot
Now I get it, permanent inflammation I assume
I can say how much more fresh I wake up every morning now.
I got put on CPAP in either 2013 or 2014 (I forget which, but I think 2014). I feel better rested after 4 hours on it than I do after 8 hours without it.
I wish I had gotten tested while still on Active Duty.
How come that face masks were not in use? Probably obvious answer, but curious.
Not sure what you mean. CPAP face mask, or what?
Considering how much shit can apnoea (basically short term asphyxiation) cause,
Yes, very true. I wish I'd gotten tested sooner. When I was on Active Duty and still in great shape, my blood pressure was high enough to raise concerns and have the medical people consistently threatening to put me on medication. I got on CPAP, and even though I was letting myself go (and getting fat, I'll admit), my blood pressure went down.
I probably would have had a heart attack before 40 had I never gotten on CPAP.
From your other reply:
I wouldn't just blame it on a soot in the sinuses
My living quarters were downwind from a massive burn pit. The trash burned there included plastics and other shit that produces toxic fumes. I spent a year breathing that shit.
My sinuses have been fucked up ever since, and have caused other health problems including IBS (swallowing the excess snot in my sleep) as well as the sleep apnea.
If something is blocked in a nose path then mouth opens
Yeah, like excess snot that my sinuses just won't stop producing!

Yes, they make a huge difference.
@brazilianxof Hi mate to answer your question about Tinder statically its utter shit for many guys and ruins their confidence its like 1OO men to 1 narcissistic woman.
However if you can be in the top 2O% of men it might work for example I am English and it works great in certain Asian countries purely based on supply and demand. Asian girls like foreign guys.
I wonder was theree any countermeasures, if someone would get here first, its all done and dusted
@Typo-MAGAshiv @Typo-MAGAshiv BTW
I wouldn't just blame it on a soot in the sinuses.
From what I remember during a sleep we breath super deep and fast at times. If something is blocked in a nose path then mouth opens. But before that nose tries to get some air, so if one can't, the breathing stops and organism gets adjuated to mouth.
If mouth pathway is also blocked, on the back position would be the worst for that, then it suck even more.
Id say, if with medium exertion (running, fast deep breathing) you can't breathe trough the nose comfortably, then there is a physical obstruction
3rd tour
That suck, I can say how much more fresh I wake up every morning now.
My shaman sense tell me there is a way to fix it (PIC attached).
How come that face masks were not in use? Probably obvious answer, but curious.
bed-wetter since
Actually I'm pretty happy I had wet a bed. It was so annoying that it led me to find a reason.
Considering how much shit can apnoea (basically short term asphyxiation) cause, getting annoyed was the best that could happen.
@SwarmShawarma I listened to the video during lunch today because I've had sleep apnea ever since my 3rd tour in Iraq in 2010 (burn pit exposure fucked up my sinuses), and so I'm always interested in learning more.
But I haven't been a bed-wetter since childhood, unless really drunk.
have some vcards!

Main Priest in performing an exorcism.
It worked: social media removed, admitted a sin, doesn't talk.
You got to love this guy, he's very effective.
