@NeoSpartan I’m that guy. I blast my music and stare at nothing with a dirty look on my face.

The only reason I was confused was because I was all the way in the yoga/warmup/floor stuff area and he was staring at me from the weight rack, he walked over all sweaty mid set just to pull out one of those little supplement containers, snort the contents and then did all kinds of weird calisthenics, standing on your head shit I’ve never seen in my life. I was thrown off to say the least. So many questions. Why? Who snorts things in the gym? Was it blow? Am I supposed to be impressed? Was that a threat?

@Jesterful Yeah I do that now, but I still see them talking to me or making dumb motions or whatever. You have to just ignore people that’s what a lot of this boils down to.

@NeoSpartan It’s true some chicks do unnecessary stuff at the gym just for attention. I stretch at home I think that’s annoying and it takes up mirror space when the do it in front of the full length mirrors. Fishing for attention is inevitable everywhere but ask some other women about what I’m saying here. It’s relatively common. Unsolicited advice, randomly “helping”, asking first if you want to hear it and then just giving unsolicited advice or “help” anyways. Maybe if you’re lucky they will walk up to regurgitate to you what you’re already doing or already know and give you a thumbs up like you’re a fucking idiot. They will start following you around the gym, circling where you’re working out, doing something really stupid in front of you to get your attention (dishonorable mention to the calisthenics guys) Where I live we don’t wear masks so everyone sees each other’s faces. Talking to people in the gym isn’t necessarily socially acceptable so instead they do this roundabout bullshit as an attempt to interact. I think on their head we’re thinking “wow chad is so hot! Look! He can stand on his head!”

@NeoSpartan My point is guys will start ego lifting in front of you or giving unsolicited advice or spot to get your attention instead of talking to you. They think it’s more alpha to just circle around you like a fucking shark when you’re trying to work out instead of hitting on you or saying hi.
