@Typo-MAGAshiv otherwise, I think you are exactly correct. I started on MRP, saw changes in my wife, opened my eyes to the shittiness of relationships, bailed for the single life and had a ton of fun. Got wrapped up in this bunny, and relearned a lot. Now I’m doing freaky shit with my ex-wife again (I’m awesome at making terrible decisions) while getting my mental state back together again.

Anyway, during my third viewing it is striking me how both Cal and Jack are pretty solid alpha-male prototypes in very different ways.
I would love to see some well-thought discussion on the topic comparing the pros and cons of each as well as a relative prognosis had the ship not sunk. Rewatch the movie if necessary, I’d like to have a real conversation.

Only one. That "Titanic" is a sci-fi horror film that masquerades as a period piece romance disaster tragedy. Neither Cal nor Jack particularly cared about Rose as they simply didn't know her that well. Cal was a egoist playboy being pressured to marry and produce heirs. Rose, the daughter of Ruth, a formerly wealthy prominent widow, falling into poverty struck a deal with Cal to functionally sell Rose to him if he became the widowed mothers surrogate beta provider. However, Jack was manipulated by satanists who sent him back in time to ensure the Titanic never reached the port of New York, so that influential Americans aboard who would later be opposed to the US entering into the first world war would be dead and unable to voice their opposition to involvement.
Every woman wants either a Jack or Cal, because they're good looking, guileful, cunning, charming, and mysterious. These are men who know when to be present and when to be scarce. They know how to inspire desire in others for their company, and how to not oversell themselves when they're present. They are like this because they have an agenda and objectives they are protecting from others awareness as they work to achieve their goals. For Cal, it's preserving his wealth. For Jack, it's killing the 3.5k people on board the Titanic by ensuring it meets the iceberg. Jack and Cal are indeed alike, but it's their goals which differ as Rose is only a means to an end for them, not the end itself.

And that exposes the irony of this ideology: a man cannot alpha every woman and still feel complete. It simply isn’t within the design of man. @Antelope just hit that scene and it’s glorious. But let’s not forget that right after that scene she jumps down into the hull to find him as the ship sinks. The consequences are pretty damn apparent and I do think women will face dire circumstances for tingles. Even death. Warbrides.
