@Osiris The fact that the obvious outcome of walking around bombs means death, makes it logical that someone like Evola would want to defy that, to be "differentiated". While it may have been literal to him (dude was into wizards n shit, certified way more hardcore wacky than me), for my purpose I see it as hyperbole and exctract the essence, leave the rest.
@Osiris Among literal explosives? No, I've never been around that sort of level of danger and I personally would not. But the discussion isn't about only literal bombs (though it may have been for evola, I am not evola). I read it as going out of one's way to observe/experience danger, often in irrational ways, in pursuit of transendence and testing of one's own mettle.

To add, I wouldn't say Im much of a rabble rouser, generally just a lurker. But I believe you are the information you consume, and if the information is laced with soy (such as a powerful figure in some community fagging it up) , over time I will develop a tolerance and even a craving for soy.
@Osiris I typed out a response but halfway thru, I get what you meant. I guess Anteros-esque opinion and GLOgang are at odds with eachother and will struggle to coexist peacefully in the same space. My stance is that Ive left plenty of communities because of ban-happy tolerance moderation (which im sure many will relate to, as we are on trp.red not /r/) but the GLOgang style of clear cut strict standards, is unambiguous and doesnt seem emotionally sensitive like the former to me.
@-Anteros- to clarify, the former (quality content) remains but the latter just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
