And this is getting more, not less, due to Tik Tok and the likes frying the brains of the new generations. So, are things overall getting worse for dating and society?
Things have always been bad and are likely far worse than any of us not involved in the trade of intelligence gathering are aware of. The only difference is that you're no longer in a position where you can either ignore or deny that it's bad at all, or overlook how your own actions, and those of others, have actively contributed to making things worse. Unfortunately, the only options going forward are the same as before, two of which being whether you continue to participate, or find a different, less emotionally burdensome path to your goals.
Whatever path you choose to take, I suggest you consider investing into a reliable ready reference you can pick up and study to better prepare yourself for engaging the opposite sex. I'd suggest that you get yourself a copy of Doc Love's "The System: The Dating Dictionary". Doc Love, who until his passing was also known as Tom Hodges, wrote a weekly advice column that's archive is mirrored on several mens focused sites and a podcast. His media is a bit pricey, but it's a solid foundation a guy can branch out from in RP aware circles. I'd suggest you review his advice column to decide if his view on dating and relationships is aligned with what you aspire for yourself. @TheAurora I remember being young and having bad oneitis for my second GF after a long dry spell. She so happened to be a Latina. "They're family and relationship oriented," I thought. Not that bitch. I put up with too much for too long before finally cutting ties and still feeling melancholy about it. Only many years later did I get smarter about women and realize how she used and manipulated thirsty beta young me.
Cut her off like a bad partisan spending plan the day after inauguration. Game other women and get some other lays under your belt. You'll work your way past the bad feelings that keep you chained financially to this one.
I made a huge mistake dating a Latina single mom. She actually hid the fact she's a single mom a while into our relationship. I started paying for everything out of pity since she's from the ghetto and has a horrible family. For two years I paid her rent, her food, her university and even a trip to Europe. I am starting to feel horrible about this and I want to stop. At the same time I feel like it's my fault making her dependent on me and it would be horrible for her if I just stop sending her money. I'm not even in Latin America anymore and don't plan on going back. I'd definitely prefer to cut ties but I don't want her to end up on the streets or worse.

@TwoInchesOfShaft Right now she's trying to find a new home and I was about to send her 500$ for the rent and deposit. Then it really hit me as nobody ever gifted me this amount of money and never would. Just feel like shit about this whole situation.
