Relationship Philosophy:
If someone is not bringing value to your life and never will, just let them go.
@Vayne I find it to be pretty intuitive design but we will get used to it. Even Reddit is weird the first time around.
@Queessai You game them and laugh it off anytime they bring some feminist trope. You don't engage in discussion, because you will lose even if you are right. I have dated feminists and it's not really much different from any other girl, except they often like to criticize gender roles while maintaining the classic male/female dynamic between you two. If they like you, they will be submissive and expect you to lead regardless. And I also like to poke the ones I'm dating a little bit about gender differences but never bring my full dissertation, just do some playful mockery.
So, I live in a third-world country, living in a city where it can get dangerous at night and I've been with a plate for two or three months. We usually schedule some free day, meet and then go to a near motel for a couple of hours. The sex is great, she enjoys it a lot and I can see how much she is into me considering the effort she makes for us to meet, since she lives in a near town.
Then today we we had the usual plan and after leaving the motel she wanted to stop to eat something. The problem is that it was already 11 PM and she wanted to get the bus in a stop nearby. I said we could go get a Taxi and get another bus on a stop where it could be more crowded. Then she said it would take much longer to get her home and I went with her plan because I was concerned with her safety as well.
But while I waited for her to finish eating, I stayed silent, looking serious around us and kept remembering when I got mugged a few weeks before meeting her. My impatience and worry was visible though me shaking my feet. She noticed that (of course) and tried to calm me down, even saying she would eat faster.
Of course everything went fine in the end but I'm worried about showing weakness to her. However, how can you deal with a real threat like that, of getting mugged and having your stuff be taken? It's not like I can just buy new cellphones and whatever.
Thanks for listening guys.
Read More@jefcostello Are you in a place where it's legal to carry a gun?
@bambinosupremo It's possible but there are a bunch of legal hoops for the normal citizen to own one. Not something I can do for the near future.
@jefcostello I'd still recommend jumped the hoops in the mean time regardless, it's good to have on you.
As for the short term, I don't think it looks bad / un-alpha to simply say, hey, this is a place where people get mugged, let's not.
@jefcostello Some replies on asktrp: www.reddit.com/r/asktrp/comments/dcwxkp/i_live_in_a_thirdworld_country_living_in_a_city/
@redpillschool That's pretty helpful. I do think she knew it was safe. I moved to the big city a few months ago so there is a lot to learn about the streets, specially because all my years were spent living in places where you could walk at 4 am without worries. There is also the fact this country is on some big economic recession, so there is more street beggars and thieves than ever. Luckily my friend was born here, so he helps me a lot of useful tips on where is OK to walk and at what times. I'm also looking at buying a car, public transportation sucks at night.
Again, I'm glad for all the replies.
@HitlerianRacialistPak Thanks, I'm trying to learn more about the city and be smart.
