I understand this point but I fail to see how I could use this myself. How can I tease a girl with her not being able to sleep with me, I've read the 3 examples he gave but I still don't get it
Could someone please try explaining this to me again and/or give some other examples which could clear up my confusion

So progressive overload works like this:
You have a weight that you can do 8 reps with for 3 sets, you can't get above 8 Then you stay with that weight until you can reach 12 reps for 3 sets with it
So does that mean that EVERY set you do has to be with that weight? And you keep it up until you can do 12?
Btw if it's worth mentioning: I want to build muscle, not get stronger
