That said, I've seen men that unconsciously prioritize their cool over their efficiency no matter what. It gets problematic when there are children and too many needs pile up.

I can imagine that a man getting entangled with a woman that un/consciously manipulates (+100 to chemical bonding) by a man that bonds too strong (-100 to self-control) is as bad as the stories I was reading/hearing at the time. After all I have never consider offing my self.

Sure I get where you are coming from. But a man in such a relationship is probably horribly gaslit, manipulated and self guilt tripped.
