@SwarmShawarma That is one of the biggest lies out there. In particular it affected working class men's wages. Most men in my trade actually could not support a family alone now. I do but we live very simply.
All they did was create a lot of unnecessary jobs in admin and more jobs to administer those jobs that produce nothing but additional income streams for families that added to government benefits and cheap immigrant labour mean that working men can be paid peanuts, while their kids go to government funded nurseries to be indoctrinated as good little liberals.
