@adam-l Lady Macbeth is a great example of culture always having known how manipulative women are and how they will stop at nothing for self advancement in society.

She is strong as steel when fuelling Macbeth up to kill the king and take the throne and thus to make her queen. She is a great supporting wife, the strong woman behind the strong man but this only works in one direction -towards her goal. She falls to pieces when things don't work out so well. When Macbeth actually needs a strong woman she is nowhere.

@Typo-MAGAshiv Hell yeah! Look at history and literature. Women are experts at manipulation and treachery. Its one big reason whey we advise men not to marry. The treachery can't hurt you that much.

Its once women get others (men and women) into positions where they are invested or committed, that then they can manipulate with devastating effect. Even if your spider sense is screaming its a lie or you just don't think it makes sense or is fair, you have bought in and its a sort of sunk cost thing for many men when women start to manipulate. Just look at the female leaders that they lionised who turned out to just be liars and manipulators and little better than con artists.

Yeah, I mean they are generally bad at abstract thinking but they are good at crafting lies and manipulation if they need to (it's usually not terribly clever though, they just need enough proxy power like courts or associates like friends to help them lie) but most of the time without any major backdrops their lies are pretty easy to spot

@Vermillion-Rx he's kind of right, but here's where a lot of manosphere denizens (I say manosphere because it's not just RP talking about this) go wrong: they start thinking women are so intellectually inferior, that there's no reason to expect treachery. They start taking them too lightly, but they're plenty capable of deceit and manipulation.

@Vermillion-Rx it's a whole new book that I've been working in my mind for a few years now. It's a steady truth for the Human species, that has been laid out by myths, religions etc, and needs to be retold in the language of each era. That's evopsych, metapsychology and metapolitics, today.

It has profound practical implications, because a lot of men get hung up on the whys, ao it has the potential to make them atop worrying and fuck the sluts, while not being fucked by them.

An example: Macbeth. It's lady Macbeth who's the psychopath and makes him do crime and destroy himself. That's what, from a distance, I see happening in the US right now.
