@Aging-Chad I mean every line of the song, describing her from good, through practical and bratty, has the caveat Yeah, but this was written about a literal 10 supermodel. That was me at 17, with the song playing and me eyeing my first-ever girlfriend thinking she's never gonna grow into a swan, she's solidifying into a 4 here.
now edit and delete our posts Would be nice. On the one hand I appreciate that it makes you really think before and while posting. On the other hand I recently got stuck in a copy/delete/paste/edit loop on a long post when the formatting kept coming out unreadable.
Case in point: I’m getting ready for work and she sends me a picture of a piece of chocolate cake and two cartons of whole milk that she bought for me in the cafeteria because she knows it’s my favorite dessert.
And about 5min later she sends a message saying “omfg… he sent me flowers AGAIN!! “
If she wants you, you can’t lose. If she doesn’t, you can’t win. No use ever chasing, boys.
@Aging-Chad Side note completely unrelated to the rest of your good post. I remember when that song came out, and always heard it with an asterisk: "She's always a woman* to me" I was a late teen feeling disillusioned with my decent but ill fated high school girlfriend when it was getting heavy radio play.
- Supermodel Christie Brinkley
Watching this marriage disintegrate right in front of my eyes and hearing her unapologetic reasoning and honest, unfiltered responses to his death flailing has reinforced every single TRP aphorism I’ve ever learned.
It reminds me of that Billy Joel song “she’s always a woman to me.”
And before @typo-magashiv jumps in with “she will do that to you, too” yes, I’m aware that AWALT and every single one has the power and potential to rip a man they don’t respect to shreds.
And that’s the lesson.
