I have a neighbor who is 90 years old and has an Alzheimer.
He always asks in the morning if I saw his wife. I feel sorry for him, for the nth time, coz his wife died 20 years ago.
I could pretend that I did not hear the question, but the sight of his big smile every time, when he gets the answer, it's worth it.
