@Kloi I never have this issue at my commercial gym. It might be because I am usually perspiring profusely, have very pronounced vascularity, and wear shirts that say things like "No Lives Matter," "Weak Things Break," "Vio-Lence," or that have threatening, sinister heavy metal imagery on them. Work on your look and wardrobe and people won't bother you.

To the 70 yo old man who walked up to me to inform me the ab machine was not a park bench. In a grumpy fashion.
Then after I explained to him, I have 45s left, the a set, then a two minute rest period before my last set. Went and got management because I'm just sitting there hogging the machine.
I'm sorry I audibly laughed when you tripped, walking away in a fus, bitching about these new generations coming up because management explained to you what a rest period was and informed you not everyone runs a cardio circuit on the machines.
Honestly I was a little irritated someone made it to your age without a lick of patience but I hope to be moving as much as you are into old age.
I hope this letter finds you well, Kloi

Scratch that, keeping OH Squat and nixing Turkish get up. Keeping Kettle Bell Swing but still open to suggestions on replacements for one or both: hip thrusts, good mornings.

Swapped from running 3x5-9s to 3x10-20s. Have gone from the mindset of fuck yahh heavier weight to Jesus fucking christ, I hit 18 reps last time. This is going to be miserable hitting 19.
While I was nervous at first cutting my weights down to 45-65% of my 1rm, it took about 5 weeks to work back up to my calculated 1rms via my working sets (app calculates it for me).
My joints feel less infringed upon versus heavy weights. Definitely feel like the pump is bursting through my skin.
Going to take a deload and rerun the same program with a slight increase in weight, my only concern is my second leg day. It feels to hip focused.
Everything is 3 sets shooting for 20 reps with light weights. I think i could get out more by swapping out something from hip thrusts, kettle bell swings and good mornings.
Also I feel i could swap out either OH Squats (ass to grass) or Turkish get ups.
Keep in mind this is more of a rehab, RoM leg day. I hit squat and deads on my heavy leg day.

64 year old bench pressing 445. Doesn't appear to be that big of a guy either, and technique isn't all that great.

I swear the gym goers in the morning are friendlier.
The approach counter is back at 0. For both sexes.

@Kloi Aside from the late night types who wake up grumpy, (they are usually hiding away in the morning anyway) everyone has a bit more energy to be nicer in the morning. Morning is the time to get stuff sorted. Getting the first appointment for things can really help. The doctor is alert and attentive first thing and judges are proven to be more lenient too.
