@AFTSOV

I would argue that masculinity is strictly dominance. Everything you listed, I find, stems out of dominance. However, I do agree that much of the traits you listed are masculine characteristics.

if you are dominant, and you lead your tribe off a cliff, to misery death and disaster, then you are a poor dominant, and another more masculine man who has the ability to lead your tribe to success with his leadership, will come along and remove your dominance.

if you are dominant, but shy away from competition with other males, you won't be dominant long,

being dominant, absolutely requires cooperation because dominance literally is a form of human cooperation,

with monetary value, you can buy forms of dominance,

if you do not have honor, and those who you are dominant over do not believe you have honor, you won't be dominant for long.

i could go on, masculinity is WAY more then just dominance.

@koolaid

Uh huh. Care to elaborate? What did you find that was "way way WAY more complicated" than that?

masculinity is sex, the creation of monetary value, dominance, leadership, reputation, cooperation through value, fear, competition with other males, challenges, sacrifice, honor of the self, honor of the collective, honor of the words, transformation, and behaviors, emotions and beliefs.

that's just a start.

@koolaid

I believe Jack Donovan has you covered with his book "The Way of Men". Read it.

jack donovan covered the main function of masculinity, violence, and a few of the tactical traits, courage, strength, mastery and honor, but masculinity in my studies has been way way WAY more complicated then that, that's why i am doing my work.

@koolaid

@Fawk_Face

Define what good means to you.

good /ɡo͝od/ Learn to pronounce adjective 1. to be desired or approved of.

by this definition human beings can never be good, they can never be desired or approved of, we all have done wrong, and by definition we can never be good.

to be good one must be fully without wrong, that is none of us and never ever will be.

@AFTSOV

I help people because it is right -- any good feelings comes after. I don't do it in pursuit of those good feelings, they just happen.

your a horrible evil awful hairless monkey

just like me, and just like the rest of us.
