@SwarmShawarma I've had the same position for a while. But now I feel threatened. I feel like the society around me is now shifting to represent feelings and emotions above principle and that is something that now directly affects me, my rights and everything I stand for.
As I said, I can't quite articulate how I feel, and I will in the coming days, but something must be said.

Personal update!
I got pretty much my dream job this week. I had a really solid interview, a couple of nervous days and then the best news I’ve had in the longest time. I’ve got a busy few months coming up, getting a lot of paperwork in order - but I’m officially moving to Thailand!
I’ve wanted to leave the U.K. for the longest time, and now I’m in a position to do so. It’s taken roughly nine years of part time study while working and slowly tailoring my resume to suit my new sector but god damn, I stuck it out and got myself across the line.

Over the past few weeks with political events and media in the UK, I'm becoming increasingly agitated and angry about the state of affairs on a societal level.
Disregard for individual freedoms, mass surveillance and government censorship, police enforcing policy rather than the law, and the general feminisation of society.
All things that I care about, but it seems like over the past few weeks these disparate topics are now all starting to come together.
I can't quite yet articulate my thoughts on this properly, and it may take some time to do so. But things are not looking good.
