I don't really like the middle part of the song but there were times I looked in the mirror the morning after heavy drinking away relationship problems and I couldn't recognize the shell of myself

You don't always see the end coming but a lot of the times you see that it needs to end

Clarity hurts because clarity shows you what's ugly in spite of whatever gift someone gives you.

A part of me is hopeful, but the situation is FAR worse than anyone is saying. Same with the US. They OWN us. They own most of our systems, including important Nuclear tech.

There is no fixing this or going back.

I never used them or wore them. My sport of choice was wrestling, and my parents wouldn't let me play football (for which I am now thankful).

I don't know much about cleats, but I know there's no such thing as a "cleat sharpener". That, and if memory serves, high schools didn't allow metal cleats. Everyone I knew who played football, soccer, or baseball had cleats made from the same material as the soles of their shoes (rubber?).

Oh, and track runners didn't even wear cleats. The track was asphalt, so they wore regular running shoes.
