Welp, it had to happen eventually. Somebody will want to talk politics so here it is. This is specifically for US Politics
Question for onlookers: How does everybody lean politically?

I'm calling it now: President Trump's mental acuity has diminished to a point where he's unfit to perform the duties of his office. When speaking, he rambles, repeats irrelevant talking points instead of responding to questions, and makes opposing claims one sentence apart. He does not meaningfully engage even softball interviewers. He uses preschool level deflections of blame. He doesn't appear to understand the definition of a Trade Deficit or a Tariff.
Look at this transcript, and tell me during what part of this interview would you consider his performance "sharp" by any metric? Quick excerpt:
KRISTEN WELKER:
When does it become the Trump economy?
PRES. DONALD TRUMP:
It partially is right now. And I really mean this. I think the good parts are the Trump economy and the bad parts are the Biden economy because he’s done a terrible job.

What is a reasonable upper limit for "He's ONLY been in office for X number of days!"

Is Trump America's leader, or Israel's waiter? At the White House meeting recently, Trump once again pushed Netanyahu's chair in for him deferentially. What does this indicate about their power dynamic? How do you explain this behavior through a Red Pilled lens?
I wish the MSM would show what's really going on here: Netanyahu pushing in Trump's stool.

Ep. 65: The BODY LANGUAGE of the BEST moments of Trump's INAUGURATION!
Guy is obviously pro trump but still few fun moments
youtu.be/2C7VQ38EFYQ?t=2517 - The still of Zuck is actually not as funny as him smiling like a teen after checking out her tits. He was later banned from the Facebook for a harassment.
youtu.be/2C7VQ38EFYQ?t=1907 - I could swear that Biden is slowly in passing stroking himself after grabbing this blond - who is she anyway
youtu.be/2C7VQ38EFYQ?t=2759 - Clinton can't resist to check out Underwood

Where do you stand on the idea of Trump aiming for a third term?
1) I'm against amending the Constitution unless it's to undo a grave error, such as the income tax (I have some hope for this) or women's suffrage (little to no hope for this). Allowing for additional terms just because Trump is the greatest President ever would bite the country in the ass in the future.
2) practicality speaking, it's just not going to happen. Amending the Constitution requires the proposed Amendment to pass both Houses in Congress with 2/3 majority, as well as 2/3 of the states ratifying it with a 2/3 majority in each of their legislative bodies. I just don't see it happening.
3) there are more pressing matters to attend to than this.
however...
4) just because I know it'll piss you off, I'm going to act like I'm in favor of it.

That might make it legal, but a lot of hurdles must get cleared first for this to even become a possibility.
Trump and every administration official who I've heard asked about this, responds in a very vague and noncommittal manner that they are looking at multiple ways to try to make this happen.
@MentORPHEUS If they can get the votes to amend the constitution and nullify the 22nd amendment, thereby opening the way for more terms after the second... well they'd have followed all of the processes required of them to allow it fair and square.
Well, that's the objective view on it. The argument for the 22nd amendment still stands in my opinion, but it isn't like it's some universal law unimpeachable by the slovenly likes of humanity. It's just an idea some folks came up with in 1951 and agreed on. If some folks come along and decide otherwise, well that's that too.
tl;dr shrug

Trump, and many MAGA fans, are starting to lean pretty hard into "Third Trump Term" talk. It's not too surprising coming from a narcissistic megalomaniac like Trump. I find it quite surprising coming from right leaning people who I've watched for decades give lip service to the importance of the Constitution, rule of law, etc.
