@Vermillion-Rx Picture reminds me of a story at my first job in the mid-80s. Big auto shop. One of my co-workers was this histrionic black guy, whose voice would go fluting up 2 octaves when he got agitated or excited.
Rare back then but an obvious tranny with blond hair and way too red of lipstick was waiting for a battery installation. One of the crew tells the black guy, "Hey, G____, That lady wants YOU to install her battery!" He got all excited, gathered the tools needed, and went to the far end of the shop to complete the job. Wrapped up and came walking back toward us all, trying not to bust up laughing. He said in as hushed a voice as he could manage, "THAT was a BO-woy, Mentor! THAT was a BO-woy!" (since I can't get superscript to work, imagine the all-caps syllables 2 octaves higher.)

@Vermillion-Rx I can't be arsed to google this one. Honestly can't tell if this is a dude or not. Will guess female but who would want to find out?
Why is life so stressful for a certain generation? I think it is because liberalism told then they should be worried about everything and they must get everything exactly in life the way they like it with no friction form other opinions or something very bad is happening to them.
Of course they are right to be stressed. Something bad is happening, They are self harming through wokeness.

@Vermillion-Rx You just know that somebody, somewhere will consider this one a worthy slump buster or brown bagger. "There's gold in them/their hills..."

@OPStolen Sorry to hear that. It sounds like you have made some positive steps in life and now you just have to go into monk mode till the debts are paid off. You have a fairly large income and one can live very cheaply if one simple does not spend. The things Verm says are the answers and just don't spend. Buy no new clothes, never buy alcohol, never eat out, always take sandwiches to work, never take a holiday and pretty soon the storm will pass, particularly if you can live with family or in a van.
Its worth hitting the debt hard. Credit card debt has horrid interest. You have to kill it off fast, so the sooner and harder you work to get rid of it, the more you will have later.
Okay that's good. Well for one, you should stop spending on anything you don't need, and start buying bulk supplies instead of expensive stuff. You can start easily saving on food and toiletries that way for the same price and way more product
You might have to consider what else you can save like living with family, asking family for help. You need to be realistic about your options here but definitely stop over spending, that is not going to help you
