One point: what's clean and tidy for you, is clean and tidy enough. (Within limits, of course - it doesn't apply if you're a hog.)
So, if she thinks that more tidying up is needed, she's more than welcome to do it herself. At that point, yes, you do have a priority to sit on the couch and scratch your balls.

During the majority of our Marriage (approaching 40 years) I have been the primary income and did many household tasks.
I was not going to let my Children go hungry/dirty/whatever in order to one-up my Wife. I regret not pushing back harder then, and now put far less effort into the "Happy Wife, Happy Life" trope. I have come to the conclusion it's more "Happy Wife, less miserable life"...

I don't recall Brad having worn one of those, but just Dr. Frankenfurter. Then again, I haven't watched it the whole way through in several years.
I will say: I have enjoyed Tim Curry in everything I've ever seen him in ("Muppet Treasure Island" FTW!), and Susan Sarandon was very beautiful when she was young.
