He went through a divorce and had disputes over property. He apparently killed his ex-wife and her boyfriend, and torched his own properties ... not sure which order that might have happened in. Once he did that he went on the run in a random killing spree that he assumed would end in his death. He also had to shut down his dental businesses due to COVID-19 and had bills to pay that had been weighing on him. It was also said that he had a drinking problem.

Cops responded to a 911 call at 11 last night at a home where several people Were shot and killed.
A female RCMP officer was shot and killed.
They couldn't locate the suspect until this morning where they shot and killed him at a big stop 40 km away from the house he shot up the night before.
He also went on to shoot and kill multiple people in between the trek from the original crime scene and the big stop 40 km away where he was shot.
They said he was driving what appeared to be an RCMP vehicle ( I don't know if he used decals or how he pulled it off ) and dressed impersonating an officer.
They wouldn't give a casualty count but said its above 10 and couldn't give any details into the nature of the motive.
