@Typo-MAGAshiv I like the way the contrast got enhanced by the Alexander's Band phenomenon. A faint secondary bow exists beyond the frame. Ground slope is depicted accurately; to the left lies Mt Baldy aka Baden-powell, with a geologically much younger ridge and wash on the San Andreas Fault along its base now. It's amazing to ponder the timescale of the deposition process.

Lots happening offline today. Desert thunderstorms accompanied by violent winds. Now in the evening twilight, it's so still and calm that I can hear snatches of conversation from neighbors a good half mile away.
