@redpillschool @redpillschool I agree. Its a different view that is worth examining. I think we can benefit from looking a little more at things from both sides when we consider courtship and life with women.
Red pill and the manosphere began like a life raft from the shipwreck of western culture on the rocks of gynocentrism. Men had been lied to for about a century and gradually deprived of their rights and agency in the world. It was totally natural and logical that the first efforts of red pill men should focus on regaining male agency. Men had been trained that they should exist to give women agency and never look to their own needs. The first red pill advice was naturally focused on men and what you as a man can do to improve your outcomes in life when the odds are loaded against you.
As Red pill thought matures, its focus can widen a little to look at a slightly bigger picture. We are after all supposed to be the leaders of society as well as sovereigns of our households and personal lives. The role of women benefits slightly more study.
It would make little sense if all the agency and all the choosing were on the same side in the world. It would not benefit evolution. Humans are complex creatures and women want mates who add the value they personally need -the right mix of genes to make socially adept children as well as physically adept ones and ideally a man they can work with in rearing their family. Men have agency to make moves and get things done, women have choice over men. Women choose who they invite to make a move.
If you have ever owned a cockerel, you end up feeling sorry for the hens. The article writer has evidently not seen a cockerel mercilessly chase a hen across the yard, peck her into submission, stamping his feet on her tearing a gash in her skin that may never heal and then having his way. Women are not hens, men are not cockerels. In all normal circumstances there is choosing on the female side. Its not just a case of doing the dance right or being big enough or high enough status.
