Financial Independence (FI) means not needing to work for money. The core concept is to increase your savings rate and buy assets that provide a stream of passive income.
I came here to add value to TRP, this tribe shares my goal. Over the last year I have learnt how to be a better digital marketer, created and sold an ecourse that got a 5 star rating. I could not have done any of this without TRP. Finally got some direction in my life. Currently upgrading my Twitter game and becoming an FBA.
If you need resources or to know the 'unwritten rules' of the digital marketing industry l will tell you. The most important thing I learnt was that red pills are everywhere. I will lurk for a while now :)
@RealJoeDee what are your expectations for the market this winter?
I bought cheap stocks previous month which I expect to pay divindents in two years, but I am thinking of starting trade them in their next increase because already had bounced two times with 20% difference.
Also what are your expectation about bank stocks?
What's not shown in that portfolio is my Epicenter Stocks slice that I'm holding onto until they announce a CV19 vaccine. That's when I anticipate I'll dump them. I'm viewing them as a long-term swing trade since I missed the bounce back in March--back then it was like trying to catch a falling knife.
Overall this slice only makes up 5% of my portfolio, so even if they do end up all going to $0 it's not going to break my portfolio.
I'm finally getting into speculation. The bases are covered, so now I'm allowing myself a bit of fun money...
It's unbelievable how well US tech has done over the past couple of years. I dare say we're in a bubble considering the PE ratios we're seeing. That being said, you'd be crazy not to get on this train. Just be sure you know when to back away from the table and have stop-limits in place to protect your profits.

AirBNB "Superhosts" scramble for liquidity as their overleveraged real estate cash cows stopped mooing due to the lockdown and travel bans. Lesson: Leveraging real estate (mortgaging to the hilt to buy more and absolutely depending on high rent for cash flow) is a way to quickly grow your portfolio in good times, but also a way to quickly lose it in a downturn.
