One of the great tactics Marxists use is deflection — they're absolute masters at it. They say (and even sometimes do) things to make you think — to trick you into thinking — they're on your side.

At the very least, they keep people off balance, sometimes appealing to one group and then just as quickly doing or saying something to mollify an opposing group.

In the Church, this is called "bishopspeak." It means a bishop uses such vague language and non-committal words (and keeps going back and forth) that when he's done talking, you have no idea what the heck he said, what he meant or what his intentions or actual motives are.

And that's exactly how they want it. They know most people are so involved in and distracted by their daily lives that they will take away from the bishops' comments whatever they want to hear and quietly think the bishop agrees with them — after all, the bishop said. And they go on with their lives, and the bishop gets to skate.

But the discerning Catholic mind (and believe us, with these two-faced snakes, a discerning mind is a requirement) would ask certain probing questions.

As 2020 mercifully comes to an end today, we should call it what it was — "the year of the Devil."

It's too emotionally draining to review all the evil that was exposed this past year, but suffice to say, think back just one year ago to New Year's Eve of 2019, and just ask yourself, "Could anyone have imagined that all this would happen?"

This was the year that communism went mainstream, and remember what communism is. It's a political system that hides behind concern for the downtrodden, but at its heart, hates humanity and its creator. How so many people could be fooled into accepting this system is still something of a mystery with many possible answers, all of which are probably correct to varying degrees.

If it weren't for the fact that this is now the new reality, we would be grateful to write off 2020, and happily flip the calendar. But seeing as how this is ultimately a spiritual war, faithful Catholics don't get to do that. In fact, we need to become more aggressive, particularly in the face of religious leaders — especially the bishops — who have simply caved to all this.

It needs to be brought to an end.

As 2021 gets into gear, what we have learned from the carnage of 2020 is that there are two major worldviews, and they have nothing to do with each other.

But what had managed to remain hidden for the most part prior to 2020 is that they both use the same labels and vocabulary; they each claim to be American or Catholic, but, in reality, they are deeply opposed to each other.

Marxist Democrats do not profess American values. Nor do dissident clergy and laity profess the Catholic faith. Leaving aside the parallel between nation and Church, and focusing exclusively on the Church, what this has caused is a crisis in the Church.

Nothing is as innocent as it seems.

One of the many travesties and tragedies exposed in the past decades involving corruption in the Church is the distribution and reception of Holy Communion in the hand. Marxist-minded clerics in the Church decades ago decided that, in order to weaken faith in the Church, they needed to weaken and eventually destroy faith in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.

Well, they've been successful.

Today, only 30% — less than one out of every three Catholics — believe in the Real Presence of Our Blessed Lord in the Eucharist. So from a Marxist point of view, mission accomplished. But as we said, this is the end result of a long-term strategy by Judas clergy who wanted the Church and her teachings leveled to clear the way for a one-world government and a one-world religion.

Reception of Holy Communion in the hand, seen in this light, is a direct affront to Almighty God. How this came to be was revealed in a series of Church Militant programs a number of years ago, but given the urgency of the need to get all things back in their proper order, we want to highlight some of our Premium programming that explains all this.
