The left won but at what cost to women?
Nah, you got it totally wrong. Capitalists won.
I had seen this move towards "rediscovering traditionalism" a few years back, and warned that TRP should keep the "historical memory" of why traditionalism never did cut it.
It's basically outlined in Esther Vilar's The Manipulated Man. You still got a nagging, rather than a satisfied wife. And then you couldn't even get rid of her.
The Left... They tried to harness and coopt women's natural restlessness and inability to conform to any notion of civilization, in order to supposedly undermine Capitalism. What they ended up with is wiping themselves out, in the chaos and irrationality that women induced in their ranks. (And I'm speaking from experience...)
As it turned out, Capitalism was much more in position to take advantage of the female characteristics, namely excessive consumption and a constant discontent that drove men towards an unattainable ideal of the super provider-Chad (the mythical Alpha provider), essentially towards exhaustion and jadedness.
Not only the working class, but with women as the battering ram, they managed to bring down the middle class as well.

But it's quite clear that the US expansionism can't go on forever
Good thing it stopped a long-ass time ago, huh
I really don't see it that way.
In fact, the shit show we are seeing in our ... field of specialty in trp, sexual economics, is textbook imperialism.
The elite have expanded inside the ol' families now, usurping control of the women in there away from their own husband. They are now using women's working capacity directly for the elites' interests, instead of through their families.
Isn't that exactly what they have been doing with colonialism and the resources of foreign people?
If you have a "national interests" viewpoint, this isn't visible. But go down just that simple level of resolution, i.e. the elite and the rest (call them what you want), and it's quite obvious.

@Typo-MAGAshiv you've got a point there, but trace it all back to its beginning, and it's about the whole state being set up as a guarddog for western interests...
Your vetting process and where you met your wife
To married guys or those in LTRs: where did you meet your wife/SO and at what point did you think “okay, I am now willing to gamble and take a chance on her, this is enough proof” - as in what happened and combination of what factors/traits/things she did made you go for it
Personally I’m vetting one girl right now and while she has some good qualities (loves her dad, big family, not a wastrel/mercantile) she also has some bad ones (too outgoing, independent). But I do understand that nobody’s perfect and if I’m going to discard every potential serious partner for having some flaws then I’m going to be single forever, and I want a family. So, I want to hear your stories (ie at what point to go for it)

A few weeks ago you voiced concerns about having low testosterone, a few weeks before that you claimed to be a financially desperate nursing student, a few weeks before that you wanted to know how to game sluts younger than yourself, a few weeks before that you were complaining about being pursued by ugly girls and the list goes on.
Sharing stories about ourselves won't help you address the fundamental problem you're having right now, which is that you're all over the place. Enjoy the time you spend with the girls you date when you're with them, refrain from developing one-itis, but otherwise focus yourself onto pursuing professional excellence, and study the book. You'll be far better off in the long run.

@Vermillion-Rx not all Iranians are fundamental islamists. In fact, there's hugely more fundamentalism in Israel than any other country.
10h ago The Dark Winter
@Vermillion-Rx taking away say 80 out of the 100 or so neuclear bombs they gave to Israel would be quite an argument for Iran to reach a deal, no?
11h ago The Dark Winter
@Vermillion-Rx maybe.
Maybe Russia and China won't up their WWIII ante for Iran's sake.
But it's quite clear that the US expansionism can't go on forever without them answering. If it's not Iran, it will be the next occasion.
There's a good old tradition of how wars are prevented, and that's by people countering the aggression of their own side. So, in principle, it falls on the Iranians to counter Iranian aggression, and on the Americans to counter their own. I believe it's a road worthy of following, even if its chances are slim.
What's the alternative?
