I've noted this before on this site, but it bears repeating:
I work with a guy who's pretty lefty. He's dating a "trans woman" and genuinely believes that doesn't make him gay because his boyfriend is cosplaying as a woman.
That aside, he's a pretty good guy. We routinely have discussions that would send most lefty reeeeetards into cardiac arrest, he laughs at the inappropriate jokes we make in the warehouse and gives back in kind, he's even conceded the point on issues when myself or others were able to verify our position with evidence or clearly demonstrate his was wrong.
But I digress. When that kid tried to assassinate Trump back in July even our resident dirty commie acknowledged how much the whole thing stank and was openly stating there was simply no way the whole thing hadn't been, at the very least, allowed to happen by the Secret Service, if not straight up coordinated by the PTB within the federal bureaucracy.
I don't know how he'll react to news of this attempt but I can't help but think, when even the progressive rank and file are openly questioning the narrative like that, someone at the top has to realize just how deep the bucket of shit in which they're sitting is.

I was saying that very day back in July that it looked to me like they wanted him to get killed. I was infantry, and so security wasn't my specialty so much as just something that was part of the job (securing whatever area we took over, securing our patrol base, etc), and we knew better than to leave a roof that was higher than we were and that was within rifle range unsecured.

He's a higher value target than even Biden (who hasn't been shot at yet)
At this point their lack of protection of trump is merely raising his poll numbers. Their absolute partisanship is making them more likely to lose. It's almost funny if not for how serious it is
