@Bozza The Overton window has shifted... many of these topics are now mainstream enough to be discussed almost anywhere. In that sense, we’ve already won a significant battle in the culture war, and our original need for a lifeboat has, at least for now, eased.

From the beginning, my goal was simply to ensure a place existed where men could share ideas and speak freely.

Today, those conversations are happening everywhere, and I’m grateful for that.

Still, this lifeboat remains here should the tide turn again. At the very least, it stands as an archive. It's a record of ideas and perspectives that would be a shame to see lost to time.

@redpillschool I remember discovering it when it was still underground and very little known about it.

I had an older guy in his 30s (I must have been about 19 at the time) suggest that I read "The Game" by Neil Strauss which then ended up leading me to TRP.

Remember reading Rollo's posts for the first time, and the sidebar and just having my mind blown that everything clicked.

As you say, very different environment today now that a lot of TRP is much more mainstream. Although I still think it's a massive shame that this site doesn't have the traction and engagement that it really deserves.

@Bozza There are a few folks kicking around this site who have been there since the very beginning. Would be interesting to hear their version of events as they unfolded.

Many people today pretend red pill as we know it today had always been mainstream and people like Rollo or Moldbug had been parading around the theories and phrase long before we started.

But back then, it really was obscure and poorly codified. Web searches did not bring you any of the information available today.

This was truly a historic forum and will shape the future in ways we still can't imagine...

Mad it's been that long, but think back I think I must have discovered TRP around 2014/2015. So it's been a while.

@TheRedPike TRP proper is 13 years old at this point. It's crazy how quickly we identified how the media would treat us that we were quick enough to inflate our life raft only 3 years into it.
