Haig's military career included service in the War Office, where he was instrumental in the creation of the Territorial Force in 1908. Thought I was going crazy and called attention to this a few weeks ago. Many others confirmed. After an update or something, autocorrect started performing way worse, like the tech suddenly regressed by nearly 10 years. It flat out changes words you already typed unbidden, and the suggestions look like random word salad. You really have to watch as you type, to not assume the mantle of its sudden onset retardation.
Hell, just a few minutes ago I was trying to properly insult Typo, and it fixed it to call him a Virginia. And just now, changed the first word of this paragraph to he'll.
