Both men and women should know better by the time they reach puberty to never get alone with a member of the opposite sex AND into a romantic/sexual situation, unless you intend to have sex. Period.
This was my other point. It was an obvious sexual situation and you really would have to be naive to think going to my room after an in-home cooking lunch and wine plan wasn't sexually conductive either.
It's also completely unreasonable to think that after everyone's been heavily stimulated during foreplay (especially after oral sex but no orgasm yet) that one or both people are going to be really wanting to have sex. The entire situation, especially up to and after that point, is going to naturally lead to wanting sex.
The whole protection thing really should have been addressed though but I can see why she did it. We were both stated to be tested since our last partners and clean and she knew I had a vasectomy. In her eyes there were zero consequences possibile (there weren't) so despite my point I can see why she didn't think it was a big deal.
