@MentORPHEUS while I agree that private equity is turning out to be the main villain of the century, I'm not sure it's quite so partisan as you make it out to be.
For instance, Larry Fink is well known to be championing the woke agenda. Private equity is being fingered as the driving force behind the DEI invasion in every industry.
So I believe it's as simple as left or right? No. But I won't pretend that the establishment is right wing at this point.
One of a few possibilities.

Every time I go out for food or drinks I can't help but notice the value proposition is quickly vanishing. Everybody wants a bigger cut, and in doing so they're robbing the future of the industry.
Getting 5 mediocre mozz sticks that are clearly reheated premade Sysco slop for $25, paying $4 for a song on the jukebox, a $20 gin and tonic, a $30+ burger with 7 fries. Or live music so loud you can't hear people right next to you let alone yourself thinking.
It was always healthier to eat at home. But, they're slowly taking away the only other value they brought to the table.
Sometimes it seems like a race to see who can insult their customers the most and still get away with it.
Checked the Reddit front page today to see what the vibe was. And would you believe it; There's hardly any Trump news at all!
