Looking for experienced mindset advice for rp mindset in general

24yo, had some bad lows, and good highs, looking for more stability without sacrificing opportunities

I'm looking for personal opinions and life advice, stories would help a lot too :)

1. Q. Is confidence more hormonal or a mindset? Personal answer: seems like when I'm on top of my sleep, take ashwagandha, make an effort to meditate I don't even have to put up an act to be successful. But then ensuring I upkeep on all of those aforementioned things, I forget to actually live and dgaf too much, which increases focus but sacrifices my social life as I'm "too responsible". I'm really athletic, I've benched 3 plates at 82kg, so my hormones are probably good but my diet is pretty lame and it feels like I'm in constant high/low mood cycles.
2. Q. Better to move to a big town where you seemingly keep running into major life events or live a boring life in the suburbs? I guess I'm at the age where I'm trying to still let loose but don't want to destabilize future too much. I've done well for myself and my career could take off, but it seems like I'll have to sacrifice a big portion of my personality for it. I miss college where I could just exist, go out the door and literally make friends. In the suburbs it takes a draining level of effort to maintain a diminished semblance of a social life.

Unfortunately getting better in my career seems to involve becoming more antisocial as its a pretty nerdy thing and requires a lot of time spent in that mindset to be good at it

A cautionary tale from my blue pilled early 20s.

Time period: Mid to late 80s. Cultural background: President Reagan was at the peak of his gambit of outdoing Russia at diverting a huge portion of our nation's GDP into the insatiable maw of the Military-Industrial complex. Our parents' generation had come of age during the Cuban Missile Crisis and Vietnam War, so there was a strong generational divide between older Americans completely gung-ho for anything that purported to "stand up to/against" the Russians, and Younger Americans coming of age under the strong likelihood that everything Mankind had achieved was constantly under threat of getting wiped out in a sudden outbreak of global thermonuclear war. We did not share our parents' automatic dislike of any and all things Russian, and were openminded toward working past this mindset for our own futures.

While I went straight into the trades, my high school friend (and embarrassing crush) a cute buxom blond gal, attended an arts college an hour away. I spent many a weekend there at parties and hanging out, so I got to watch the players here firsthand.

Her dorm mate was Latina by appearance and surname, but while she'd "let" guys spend their tight college age budget money taking her out on dates, her legs would only fly open for Russian guys for some reason. According to my friend, she would mock and belittle them immediately after these dates. It just so happened that in their class were two Russian exchange students from Kiev, who were friendly and outgoing and became quite popular around campus.

Over the course of years, I watched as she got together with one of them, played the two of them off of each other, then eventually married the "other" one. She turned out not only manipulative at the dating stage, but domineering and demanding at the wife stage. She would show up to social gatherings with her husband, and plant her ass on a seat while making him buzz about serving her like a queen bee.

The two guys were originally best friends who had grown up together and emigrated to a foreign land to spend years assimilating into a new language and culture. By the time this branch of the friend group broke off, they had become cold and suspicious toward each other, and their warm and outgoing personas had turned to a bitter solitary sullenness. One of the last times I saw them, it was announced that she was pregnant. SHE looked supremely happy; he looked and acted the part of someone playing someone else's character in a movie, deeply unhappy but unable to express this.

[B] Lessons to take away:[/b]

• Be aware that just because you find yourself with a cultural or ethnic "in" with a woman that works to your advantage in dating/sleeping with her, Don't assume this can never get turned around and weaponized against you later once she gets time to sink her talons into you.

• If you see your woman manipulating a guy close to her to your short term advantage, recognize this as a red flag that she will do the same to you

• Bros before Hoes. These guys had a deeper and more profound shared past and journey together than most guy friends by a wide margin, but they got split apart to go their separate ways in a foreign land over the petty manipulations of a woman.
