Fair enough. You know what is WAY more offensive than that?
All the things that Jewish people did to children in Weimar Germany - the things that made Germans start hating Jewish people ther.
Now THAT was offensive.
But America is not ready for that convo yet.
@aweawea_ In general I think that when you wake up feeling absolutely starved that its mostly either an insulin issue, serious vitamin and mineral nutritional issue or a bacterial growth issue. It really shouldn't be a big deal to not eat.
In fact, for the private browsing mode lurkers here, I think that it's about time that I starve my dogs again - for their health.
this ain't an universal truth, i find myself doing intermittent fasting without even trying or particularly aiming to do it, i can last a good bit without eating without it affecting my productivity.
I don't tend to be very hungry first few to several hours after waking up.
And i even find myself with a clearer mind and stronger drive on an empty stomach (granted i ate well the previous day)
but i think thats the key - eating really well in the window when i do eat the previous day and then my body just feels satisfied for a long time and end up doing intermittent fasting just naturally.
I've built a big eating capacity so i eat A LOT in the window when i do eat and then i just don't eat later in the evening and it stretches all the way to sometimes even past most people's lunch time, sometimes even longer.
Basically yeah, i am a subscriber to intermittent fasting but i am not sure its for everyone, i think its for people who one way or another just naturally have habituated themselves into it, and yeah, i don't do it everyday, i don't plan it, if i feel like having breakfast, ill have it.Read More
Over here we're used to walking 1-2 hours in a day. Some days we barely walk and others we walk for 2.5 to 3 hours. It's not tiring at all.
So recently I wasn't able to walk much due to an injury. Yesterday though I walked for over 2 hours. It was fine, but then at night I was feeling my ligaments and tendons a bit. They really got a wake up and they were probably being flushed with blood at all night.
I feel perfectly fine today without any pain at all. I just want to point out though that walking is good for the body, and that if you're living the typical American lifestyle that you probably have a body that is incapable of walking without difficulty. In a lot of environments and situations in America it can be almost impossible to walk enough (without drearily forcing yourself to walk through dreary suburbs and stroads that your brain does not feel rewarded or stimulated by).
It's a real problem that most of you need to solve for yourself because there it's completely dependent upon your specific situation.
Basically, if you're not walking around 1, 2 and 3 hours on the regular basis then I'm going to be able to easily kick your ass. You're just very unlikely to have good coordination or endurance. People who walk and run are just more attractive in real life, even though it probably doesn't translate to social media photos. One person gets out the chair slowly, and the other person springs out and has a lot of pop in their step.
If you look at dancing like a wild bird doing its mating dance then you'll notice that they move their body in ways which demonstrate that everything is working properly. That is attractive. I'm more attractive than most of you because when I casually and mundanely moving about I'm implicitly demonstrating how well that by body functions.
This dynamic against walking plays out massively in the West. In the early part of this reinvigorated war in Ukraine there was a British mercenary who allowed himself to be captured. I say that he allowed it because he sat there like a fat turd while Russians surrounded him. He didn't go anywhere because he didn't have a ride. However, if he were to have just simply started walking away from the direction of the Russians then they never would have been able to reach him.
People seriously discount the ability of the human body to move. If you need to get somewhere then you can jog for 5-10 minutes, then walk for 20, then jog another 5 minutes, etc. You can cover a lot of distance this way.
A lot of people don't even know how to walk anymore. Walking on two legs is even more emblematic of humans than having thumbs and a large brain, yet many people don't even know how to do it.
Who do you think that a woman is going like more, me or a guy who can't even walk? Do you think that a man is going to be able to hold onto his woman when I come walking up? No.Read More
Two things led mankind astray....
1.) Lack of Faith
2.) The destruction of the nuclear family
Take away a mans faith and his family. He is alone.
He can be laughed at, humiliated, with no one to hold him up.
He can be controlled.
hell, not even controlled.
He'll just kill himself and make it easy for them.
