Democrats pander to working class folks, and generally show better human rights behavior, but in reality work for donor interests as blatantly as Republicans, even MIC and AIPAC donors regardless of their campaign mouth noises. In these midterm races, virtually no third parties bothered to even run a candidate for virtually any of the races. D vs R makes an illusion of choice between 2 options that are both completely shitty flavors.
It’s Election Day in the US, and I have continued my very long streak of never knowingly voting for a Democrat or a woman.
@lurkerhasarisen Same here with the women on the ballot, but as a working class person, I find that Republicans don't bother trying to pander much less legitimately appeal for my vote, only attempt to scare or bullshit me then turning away the next moment forward and blatantly zero sum serving the Billionaire and or Israeli class in reality. What baffles me is the way Judges get installed in California. One single candidate for each of an entire page of seats, which you vote to affirm or deny that person a term in that seat, WTF?
@lurkerhasarisen I've seen little evidence that Thune and Johnson want to be majority leaders. They and their ilk seem more comfortable in the minority, where they can complain and blame Dems for everything and beg for funds. It was almost as blatant this election as Paul Ryan in 2018.
@Typo-MAGAshiv I never understood this Star Wars Snobbery. I was 10 when the original came out. I remember the line around the building housing the biggest old school 1,000+ seat theater in the area. The effects were groundbreaking and genre setting at the time. I'll grant you that the sequel/prequels went way the fuck off the rails, but I've never understood how so many people get off on shitting all over the original. If you want a REAL WORLD experience in setting up this kind of venture then do it first on Reddit. In essence it wont differ much: you can get shut down, shadow banned, you will deal with trolls, personal attacks... etc.

I have been in several hiking male only groups and they all fell apart because foundations were shaky.
