Yeah, r/TheRedPill has some pretty tight automod and I only made it tighter, including autoban suspected ban evaders
I rarely see malicious spam or posts there at all but when I do it's automatically not visible anyway or it's some user that's been there for 7 years or so who is angry there is no more OG Chad posts instead of writing his own damn post with 7 years of experience and then I just take it down and swat ban

Some of the brigades were almost overwhelming.
I'm glad I found out (through another mod of another sub trying to help me at the mod support subreddit) that you can change certain settings such that unknown commodities wouldn't have their shit show up until a mod approved it, but known users would flee l showup as normal (can't recall what reddit's actual term was, "authorized user" or something like that).
I made that change to the settings to make our jobs easier, and less than a month later theyv permanently suspended you, me, and aldabruzzo within an hour of each other.
At least the guys who are left don't have as rough a time. Making the sub 18+ only keeps it from getting suggested on /r/main or whatever it is, and cuts down on brigades that way too.

My first year as a mod in Reddit for a small sub had me deleting porn non-stop. Those feminists were absolutely spamming the shit out of us in order to get us shut down.
It listed me off to no end. Then the brigading and spamming. Some folks really don’t like men speaking publicly.
Shortly after I resigned as a mod there, I was invited to be a mod for r/whereareallthegoodmen. And that took a whole team, around the clock to block all the bullshit that came our way - not even counting basic rules violations.
Big respect to mods and admins everywhere. It’s truly a job.
