Just MHO that a lot of it has to do with Autism being identified and catogorized.
Before it became a recognized medical condition, we just had wierd kids at diferent levels.
I have no doubt the gross contamination of our food plays a strong role in the relative explosion of Autism cases identified.
Then, we have the money part...
Something widespread gets a lot of money thrown at it and there is always people interested in intercepting it for their own accounts.
