"Women are children" is an affront to children. Children have the capacity to evolve.
We spend over a year with over a dozen members giving constant feedback and ideas to come up with our current design. We're quite happy with it as it mirrors both Twitter and Reddit but with enough distinction to make it our own.
By all means, use the sites for a few months and learn more about our community before coming in thinking you know better than everybody else. I listen to our long-standing members and I believe they would all attest I'm very receptive to constructive criticism.

My parents both had their faults, but at least they were loving and supportive. I've met so many people whose parents weren't, that I've learned to let any resentment go and just be grateful for how good they actually were.

Poor acting and a mostly ludicrous script AND media like this is usually containment/outlet for actual rage and action, but it was fun to see nonetheless.

I was saying the same thing in the late 90s and early 00s.
My advice is to do what I did: adjust your expectations to get them in line with reality, and go smash some poon.
I've nothing to forgive. Plenty I could criticize were I so inclined,a few I'd change if I could. But it ain't the Old Man's fault the world has passed him by and invalidated a lot of the wisdom he was taught as a kid.
