A new shelter for women is being funded by virtue signaling celebrities… because of course homeless and hopeless men already have so many options for getting back on their feet. After all, a shocking one in four homeless people are women, and we can’t rest until that becomes zero.
@lurkerhasarisen maybe since Epstein is dead it's harder to source young attractive slaves.
Thers no better sorce of income than a rebelious independent woman without nowhere to go.
Porn industry certified this model.
I almost always text like I’m writing a term paper: capitalization, punctuation, words spelled out. I think that’s an “old person” thing, and I have to make a conscious effort to use the new “standard” shorthand. After all, just because I’m on the back nine of life doesn’t mean that I can’t be hip to the jive. After all, I have it on good authority that I’m still the bee’s knees. (Or should I say ?)
I'm not all that interested in hiring out help. I've found my bread in butter with customers who aren't to rushed on time (meaning I can get it done solo) and I'll come in a little cheaper than the big dogs that can flip the job in a few days. Delivering quality over quantity.
In a perfect world I'd set myself up working the six not so nice months and enjoying spring and summer to myself.
Though I am eye balling moving back out West to snowbird/work and come home during the nice months to also work a bit.
We'll see how February goes when I fly back to Portland for a month to dip my toes in the water. I just really haven't been feeling a small city (sub 300k population) and multiple people have asked why I'm in town, hinting at my personality suits a bigger city.
Upon further reflection, A few things jump out at me after having read that.
The first is that her fever dream essentially embraces the premise of “The Handmaiden’s Tale” with the sexes reversed. I’ve never read THT, of course, but I know enough from what feminists say about it.
The second thought is to wonder who would enforce the restrictions on the men? We know that women can’t do it, and having men do it defeats the entire purpose, because they could (and very quickly would) simply take over.
The third is that she makes the same mistake every feminist makes when she assumes that society would continue running without the labor of men. Every link in every supply chain is utterly dominated and dependent upon a large pool of men willing and able to learn and perform highly specialized tasks.
Her “Manservant’s Tale” utopia would fail before it even started along the path to fruition. If someone all-powerful group could snap their fingers and go straight to the finished product, it would implode within days… if not hours.
Let’s face it: she just hates men.
